Gridlock Civil was selected by Adelaide City Council to undertake the construction of a shared pedestrian and bicycle path connecting Barton Terrace with War Memorial Drive and the North Adelaide Railway Station. This significant project included excavation of the existing road shoulder, extensive sub-base preparation, approximately 1000 lineal meters of jarrah timber edging and a vibrant new red ochre bitumen overlay complete with new line marking. Wild weather posed a number of obstacles throughout the project including flooding and erosion. Despite one of the wettest and windiest winters on record, the project was delivered successfully amidst praises by stakeholders for Gridlock Civil’s commitment to quality and their ability to work with local business owners.
