This project is easily recognised by many as the footpath with coins in it. Gridlock Civil was awarded the Rundle St footpath upgrade in 2010 and as Head Contractor of this multimillion-dollar project, faced enormous pressure from stakeholders to deliver the project on time given the high profile nature of the street. A variety of works included the demolition of existing concrete/bitumen pavement and the installation of new stormwater, extensive base works, multiple types of paving, street art, furniture and landscaping. Gridlock Civil’s team of experienced project managers, site supervisors, construction workers and connections with other trades proved invaluable and were a testament to this project’s completion.
